You know it was a rough weekend when you’re relieved it’s finally Monday. I had some bad news yesterday on both the professional and personal fronts, and I allowed someone to get under my skin all weekend after telling myself I’d be stronger than that. Plus I had a sick dog and a disappointing long run. Boo.
On the plus side, I did find some stretches over at Runner’s World that seem to be helping me with my aches. I’ve been having a lot of soreness in my hips and butt for the last week to week and a half, and I was kind of in agony yesterday until trying these moves. I’m sure that the unnecessarily intense gym workout I did on Saturday didn’t help with my lack of endurance on Sunday, but I’m going to cut back a little this week to let myself recover. Onward!
